Review : Elf Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder

My go to contour bronzer/powder!!!I love this bronzer, it is perfect for contouring it is a matte bronzer that isn't cakey! Even though this bronzer is matte it doesn't make you look orange and scary like some matte bronzers, it actually has a unique golden shine go it but its weird because it doesn't appear shimmery but just matte. And the price is really remarkable, $1.00! I mean whether you like it or not trying it won't really put a huge dent in your wallet. Like i said I use this to contour. I like applying it in a line along the hollow of my cheeks with an angled  brush and then buffing it out with a flat top buffer brush (not a stippling brush). Sometimes I'll contour around my temples but usually just the hollows of my cheek. This bronzer comes in four different shades, I believe one of them is a golden highlight, I use the darkest shade which is Matte brown, its perfect for my tan light brown skin!
I'll have links to everything below, make sure to follow my twitter to know when I add more posts, and check out the brushes I use to contour and buff out the bronzer. Everything will be linked below! (:

Review : Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters

My first thoughts on these lip stick hybrids was that they were really shimmery, and of course sheer like it's supposed to be. But after I applied them, I was surprised by how moisturizing they were. I was pretty happy with them because the colors looked good sheer.
The two colors I have are Creme Brulee and Peach Parfait! Creme Brulee was a bit fo risk for me since I do have medium to deep complexion, but it is the perfect nude because it is so sheer. And Peach Parfait it just a really pretty, shimmery, pinky peach. Both colors are amazing, moisturizing and beautiful. I recommend them to anyone! (:

Review : Blinc Mascara

blinc Mascara
^^^ By The Way I Don't Think The Brush Looks Like That In Person So Don't Be Mislead! ^^^
This Mascara I Received A Deluxe Sample Of In My September Birchbox [Which I Had Forgotten To Share With You Guys]. I Still Have It, I'm Not Sure It's Because I Don't Use It Enough Or That There's A Lot In The Sample Size But I Have It Till Now. This Mascaras Main Claim Is To Be A Tubing Mascara So Basically It's Like A Lengthening Mascara. IT Does What It Claims The Formula Wraps Around Each Lash Separating Them Well and It Tubes Then Basically.
My First Thoughts On It Was That It's Very Lengthening And It Separates My Lashes Well. I Think I over All Like It, Though The Mascara Is Not Overall Buildable If Like You Want More Volume And You Try Layering More Product On It's Just Gonna Become A Big Mess. It's Good For Lengthening And Separating Your Lashes But Not Really For Volume. This Would Work Amazing If Your Someone Who  Has Full And Long Lashes It Will Make you Look Like You Have On Falsies, Just Absolutely Gorgeous. But If You Have Thinner Shorter Lashes Then It Lengthens Then But Really Doesn't Help In Making Them Look Fuller. It Is Really Waterproof As Well It Will Barely Come Of With Water Itself But, It Easy Comes Off With Makeup Remover, Wipes Work Best! (:

I Believe This Mascara Retails For $ 20 - 25  I'll Link The Places Where You Can But Them Online Not Exactly Sure Of It's Available In Stores. If You Do Know Feel Free To Comment And Let Us Know!

P.S : I Have Stopped My Birchbox Subscription After I Got My Box For September, Not Because I Stopped Liking It Or Anything Just To Try Some Other Stuff I Do Plan On Renewing My Subscription In A Month Or So Maybe January We'll See! (:

Review : Lush Mint Julips Lip Scrub

So where do I start with this product!!!!

I've been using it for a month now, I absolutely love it I'm usually tempted to use it every morning! It's just made my lips so much smoother, so much softer. My lips specially as the weather gets colder start getting really chapped and they just don't feel too good sometimes! But I love this stuff its helped so much!

So basically this a sugar lip scrub, all its made with is castor sugar, natural oils and this particular flavor with mint extract I believe, it doesn't have mint "flavoring" but the natural taste from its extract.

So what I did try it at the store the girl told me I could eat it, you just apply some on your lips and rub them together then lip off the sugar and it actually tastes pretty good!

Everyone Needs This! Until Next time... (:

Review : Coastal Scents 88 Mirage Palette

I purchased this Coastal scents palette about a month ago, just randomly,I'd been noticing it a lot recently so I finally just ordered it. I was so excited about it that I got one day shipping on it and everything. So I was even more excited when I opened it the next day, I loved it! I loved all the colors and everything. Specifically I loved the blues, purples, and oranges/reds.

The colors range from really dark to really light their all very wearable colors, but also colors you can do more outgoing looks with at the same time. What I love most is that it has a large variety of brown shades. This palette  is much better then the original 88 color palette in my opinion because in the original the colors are way too outrageous fro me to many bright colors and not enough neutral colors. As a sophomore in H.S I wouldn't really wear that much color, or even later on I'm sure I just love neural looks! In the palette there are some really shimmery colors as well as mattes, and some frosts
There is great range of colors, that are all pretty pigmented and go on really well sometimes the darker colors are less bendable but that's not really an issue if you use them cautiously!

So over all I really loved this palette,  I recommend it a lot if your more into neutral looks with an occasional pop of color look below for a more close of up of the colors. I will also be putting up swatches of the colors I'm not sure if all of them but most, there are 88 colors so it may not be possible to swatch all of them.

That's all for now byee! :)

Review : Birchbox #3

I'm not completely sure what I feel about this months birchbox, and I guess that's why I've waited a little on doing this post. I've had it for a little over a week and its my least favorite from the three I've gotten which isn't necessarily a bad this I just like what I got in previous boxes better! So that's all I really feel about this months box so I'll go right ahead and show you what I got:
BVLGARI Mon Jasmin Noir
I got a small 8 ml sample size, I'd describe it as rich, crisp, and floral.
Full size: 80 ml for $80.00
Tocca SPF 30+ Sunscreen Towelettes in Stella
I got two individually wrapped towelettes, they are both quite big!
Full size: 10 Towelettes for $24.00
Pangea Organics Cleanser for Oily to Combination Skin
I got a 1 fl oz sized tube, really nice!
Full size: 4 fl oz for $28.00
Number 4 Lumiere d'hiver Reconstructing Masque & Number 4 Fleurs de Temps Volumizing Shampoo [Which came as a bonus with the Masque in a pretty small size]
I got 1.5 oz of the Masque, a great size there's a lot in the bottle, and .25 fl oz of the shampoo.
Full size: Masque [5.1 oz for $ 58.00] Shampoo [8.5 fl oz for $34.00]

EXTRA this month:
Twistband Hair Ties
I got one hair tie in black, which I really liked!
Full size: Comes in sets of threes in various colors for $5.00

This month even though I didn't love all the products my money was well spent cause if you do the math all these products together in the sizes I got are worth well over $20.00 when I just spent $10.00! So the only reason I was disappointed was that I really want more makeup and less hair and skin care products, but its okay.

Well that's that, leave me a comment and let me know what you think and post ideas, or requests are always welcome!

Bye!

Review : Perfect Wear Eyewriter

Avon's Perfect Wear Eyewriter, My Choice Liquid Eyeliner!

I've Never Been A Huge Fan Of Liquid Eyeliner My First Choice Has Always Been Gel Liner. In A Way It Still Is. For Dramatic, Going Out Looks, Or a Smokey Eye I Still Prefer Gel Liners. For My Water Line And Under Eyeliner I Will Always Prefer Pencils [The Ones You Sharpen! I Despise The Retractable Ones!]. And For A Very Thin, Upper Lash Line From Liner, Now I Will Have To Say Liquid, And I Really Do Think Just This One And No Other!

I Absolutely LOVE The Applicator, Its Perfect For Getting That Very Thin Line I Love! Its Very Flexible Too So You Can Work A More Dramatic Look As Well! It Is Amazing For Long Wear Once I Forgot To Clean My Makeup Before Bed And When I Woke Up Half Of It Was Still There While Everything Else Was Gone! That Is If You Don't Rub Your Eye To Much! Any Make Will Come Off If You Do Of Course.

Just A Caution, This Liner Is Runny When You Try Using It Under Eye Which Is Weird Since Its Not When You Apply It To Your Upper Lash Line But Yes Beware!

- That's All Bye!

Review : Birchbox #1

Ok so I got my Birchbox on Monday!
I've had it for a whole week now I've just been slacking a little on this one since I will admit I wasn't too happy with. Its somewhat my own fault since I did Google what others got in their birchbox before I received mine. And I didn't get the one thing I was most excited about seeing. The Laura Geller Blush/Bronzer a full size worth $29.99...and I was upset when I didn't get any other full size product in place of that. And I do think that all boxes should be worth the same even if your getting different products that's what bothered me but anyways here are the things I got...Oh and I won't unsubscribe just because of this I do feel like I need to wait till another month, and stuff I still love this just a bit disappointed. [I can't find my camera to take the pictures of each samples actual size and this is what the full size looks like.]
Tatcha Aburatorigami Blotting Paper
I received the first blue one, the sample was of 3 sheets
Full size: 30 Sheets for $12.00
Herban Essentials Towelettes
I receives two individually wrapped towelettes both in the orange flavor.
Full Size: 20 Sheets for $15.00 [Also in: Lemon]
Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss
I received the 0.02 fl oz gloss in Glisten
Full Size: 0.21 fl oz for $20.00 [Also in: Mirage, Riviera, Rose Glisten, and Tender ]
Jouer Moisturizing Gloss Swatches
Kate Spade New York : Twirl
I received about 0.03 fl oz I think not completely sure.
Full Size: 3.4 fl oz for $ 80.00 [Smaller size: $65.00]
Pureology ColourStylist Strengthening  Control Zero Dulling Hairspray
I think I received about 3 to 5 fl oz, the mist is really fine and you  barely feel it I really liked it!
Full Size: 11 oz for $24.00
Nuxe Reve De Miel Ultra Comfortable Body Cream
I received 15 ml
Full Size: 150 ml for $35.00
So thats all things I received this month, let me know your thoughts if your planning to subscribe, etc.

Review : Rimmel London Natural Bronzer

Rimmel London Bronzer in Sun Dance
Like I said in one of my previous posts I bought this and I was going to review it! So I've been using it for about a month or more, and so far I'm not super impressed. The things that I really like about this bronzer is its really light and doesn't make you look too weird and orange. Though its quite shimmery, and blends in a little to well with my skin tone.
I am planing on getting a different shade of this bronzer, and I will re-review it then. But So far not super impressed its should work for light skin tones better!

Bye! (:

Review : EOS Lip Balm

EOS Lip Balm in Summer Fruit
I've been meaning to get this for the longest time! I see a lot of people using it and I was like whats the big deal? I've been using it for a month now and this whole months I have not used anything else! The round part on top is already become flat! I use it before lip gloss or lips stick, and even alone it just makes my lips look healthy and super soft! Love this never using anything else!

If you try it let me know what you think!

Review : Avon SuperExtend Mascara

Avon's SuperExtend Mascara
I have been using this mascara for about three weeks, I was meaning to get the Avon SuperShock Mascara but it was out of stock so I got this one instead. I might do a review on the SuperShock later because I do like it better, I've gone through a whole tube and have to get another one!

So overall like it, I'd give it a four star rating out of five. The product is good, its waterproof, and not too thick. The brush though is a bit thin for me though I can't complain becasue it really does make my lashes look a lot longer! It doesn't clump unless of course you go over it more then once which you really don't have to do with this mascara, it separates my lashes really do, it lengthens your lashes like it claims too!

You can get these and other Avon products through their representatives if you know any, or order them online!
The regular price is $9.00 though right now its on sale for $ 4.99! Do pick it up while the offer lasts!

And for this weekend only for memorial day if you order anything online and enter this code: MDAY2011 you get free shipping for any order over $10

Blabber : Wet n Wild Nail Color

Wet n Wild : Wild Shine Nail Polish in Sparked (Left) and Caribbean Frost (Right)
So just yesterday I was at the Walgreen by my school after school, and I was just kinda looking though the different beauty products not really gonna buy anything. But I came across these two colors and I was just like I have to have them! They were on sale for $ .69 each! First I was skeptical of how well they polish would work. But the colors were just sooo pretty I had to get them!

So I come home and quickly took off the nail polish I was wearing and everything and tried the Caribbean Frost! I was really really impressed! The brush was really good, and the color wasn't too sheer, and I didn't have to do more then one or maybe two coats. It dried right away and it was just really pretty and bright! So I loved it!

So I'm probably gonna even go back and see if there are any other colors I like or don't have, and get them. Because all the products I buy are from my own money, my monthly allowance which is pretty average. I don't even have a job since you have to be 16, which is totally unfair! So something this good for just $ .69 I consider a really really good buy!

Let me know if you try these colors, or if you have suggestions for other colors!
Bye!

P.S : I also bought the Rimmel London Natural Bronzer in Sun Dance since it was also on sale. I'll try it out and you an expect a review in a week or so! (:

Review : Physicians Formula Gel Cream Liner Trios

Physicians Formula : Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enchaning Gel Cream Liner Trios! The picture above is the trio for brown eyes!
I have been using these gel liners for a month now, and I have been absolutely adoring them! I bought these in April after watching a video by a Beauty Guru I follow on Youtube, Blair Fowler aka JuciyStar07! Click for the video! So I have been looking for a really good gel liner for a while. I used to use the Maybelline gel liners. But I tried this one and I almost threw that other one away!

Heres what the it claims to do:

Three custom shades provide a glamorous look to define and enhance your eye color.
Yes!
I use the brown eyes trio since I have brown eyes. The colors like you can see above are brown, purple (a wearable purple though not as light as it looks in the picture), and black with purple shimmer ( you can barely notice the shimmer from far away but up close you can and it looks beautiful! And the shimmer does not change the consistency!). Though if you do like the colors in other trios for a different eye color you should buy it! Because I don't know how much the eye enhancing thing works, maybe a bit but not enough to stop me from buying a different set soon! So you don't have to get it for your eye color!
Unique gel cream formula glides-on effortlessly and smoothly while providing the definition of a liquid eyeliner.
Yes!
The consistency is great not to dry and not to liquidy. I love the way it comes on and I've had it for more then a month and so far it has shown no signs of drying out on me! So hopefully it will last me a few months longer, when it does start to dry up I will let you know so you know how long it lasts and stuff.
Long-wearing, water-resistant and smudge-resistant formula provides 24-Hour definition.
Yes!
The biggest thing that shocked me about this liner was how it does not smudge at ALL! On the days that I'm not rubbing my eyes a lot or you know touching my make up too much it last last all through my school day and I usually see it still on for a couple hours after wards. I think the longest this has lasted me is 12 hours, and let me tell you I have a really bad habit of rubbing my eyes! And It is water resistant, it only comes off quickly if I use make up remover! Oh and you don't have to do more then one coat of this, unlike the Maybelline eye studio gel liner.
Includes Pro-Eyeliner Brush for effortless and precise application.
Yes & No!
It does include the the brush but like almost all other brushes which come with gel liners this one isn't any different! I suggest you use any flat or angled eyeliner brush for applying. You can still use the brush that comes with but if your looking for real thin lines then it might not work. It'll work but it'll take a lot longer and more effort.
Stackable eyeliner pots can be pulled apart for individual use on-the-go.
Yes!
Yup, there isn't much to say about that they do clip together and come apart, and they are good for just taking with in your bag.

Also consider the price! All three of those regular sized pots for $10.19 [I bought them from target.]! Most of you may know the Maybelline Gel liner costs the same price for just one of the same size! Don't think these are smaller they are regular/average sized pots!

So I totally recommend them! Try it and tell me if you like it and if this helped! \

Bye!

Review : Maybelline Color Sensational Lipcolor

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipsticks! Color above Born With It!
Since you all know I'm 15 and since I've only started buying/using make up in the past two years and this year since High school I started wearing make up every day [even though I've been experimenting for a while]. So I don't have that many lipsticks and now recently I'm a little feed up with lip gloss [most] since it comes off so easily and I've found out that using a lips stick as a stain or base before you apply lipstick works well. And so of course to try this out I first went looking through my moms lipsticks. Though the thing is she only has really dark colors! No pinks what so ever, all dark reds, plums, maroons. But I did try some colors under matching lip gloss and I loved the effect! And I knew I had to invest in lipstick I liked.

So a few days ago I went out and bought the Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in the color Born With It. Did I like the texture? No. Did I like the color? No. Wait wait! Don't stop reading, don't assume that since I didn't like those things that the product is horrible! I would have liked it a lot, the only reason I was disappointed was because when I bought it, it wasn't what I was looking for. Like I said I wanted a lipstick to wear underneath lip gloss. And this lipstick was really creamy, and really uhmm wet, almost like lip gloss, but really pigmented and bright.

Then as for color, I really did believe that this would be a darker pink then it really was. My skin tone is medium to deep, like a dark tan, somewhat olive. So my lips aren't pink more of a darker rosy color. On the counter and the back of the lipstick the color really did look a lot darker then it came out on my lips I was shocked when I put it on! On my lips it looks like a light bubblegum pink almost chalky [the color] and just really really bad looking on my lips. I might never use it on myself again. So Those of your with fair skin, defiantly go for it! But Then those with darker skin, don't go on the color it looks like on the back! If its a bubblegum pink like color your looking for then you should try it.

Will I buy this product [in a different color] again? Yes! I'll just be sure to choose a darker shade!

Hope this helps!
Bye!

** On Darker Skin: Don't trust certain shades easily!
