Review : Blinc Mascara

blinc Mascara
^^^ By The Way I Don't Think The Brush Looks Like That In Person So Don't Be Mislead! ^^^
This Mascara I Received A Deluxe Sample Of In My September Birchbox [Which I Had Forgotten To Share With You Guys]. I Still Have It, I'm Not Sure It's Because I Don't Use It Enough Or That There's A Lot In The Sample Size But I Have It Till Now. This Mascaras Main Claim Is To Be A Tubing Mascara So Basically It's Like A Lengthening Mascara. IT Does What It Claims The Formula Wraps Around Each Lash Separating Them Well and It Tubes Then Basically.
My First Thoughts On It Was That It's Very Lengthening And It Separates My Lashes Well. I Think I over All Like It, Though The Mascara Is Not Overall Buildable If Like You Want More Volume And You Try Layering More Product On It's Just Gonna Become A Big Mess. It's Good For Lengthening And Separating Your Lashes But Not Really For Volume. This Would Work Amazing If Your Someone Who  Has Full And Long Lashes It Will Make you Look Like You Have On Falsies, Just Absolutely Gorgeous. But If You Have Thinner Shorter Lashes Then It Lengthens Then But Really Doesn't Help In Making Them Look Fuller. It Is Really Waterproof As Well It Will Barely Come Of With Water Itself But, It Easy Comes Off With Makeup Remover, Wipes Work Best! (:

I Believe This Mascara Retails For $ 20 - 25  I'll Link The Places Where You Can But Them Online Not Exactly Sure Of It's Available In Stores. If You Do Know Feel Free To Comment And Let Us Know!

Review : Lush Mint Julips Lip Scrub

So where do I start with this product!!!!

I've been using it for a month now, I absolutely love it I'm usually tempted to use it every morning! It's just made my lips so much smoother, so much softer. My lips specially as the weather gets colder start getting really chapped and they just don't feel too good sometimes! But I love this stuff its helped so much!

So basically this a sugar lip scrub, all its made with is castor sugar, natural oils and this particular flavor with mint extract I believe, it doesn't have mint "flavoring" but the natural taste from its extract.

So what I did try it at the store the girl told me I could eat it, you just apply some on your lips and rub them together then lip off the sugar and it actually tastes pretty good!

Everyone Needs This! Until Next time... (:
Hey guys!
I'm soooo sorry I haven't been posting a lot recently I was just really really busy with school I had so many posts in mind I've noted all of them, and I'll try getting a few done this weekend and then keep a steady pace! I'd love feedback and comments! (:

Review : Coastal Scents 88 Mirage Palette

I purchased this Coastal scents palette about a month ago, just randomly,I'd been noticing it a lot recently so I finally just ordered it. I was so excited about it that I got one day shipping on it and everything. So I was even more excited when I opened it the next day, I loved it! I loved all the colors and everything. Specifically I loved the blues, purples, and oranges/reds.

The colors range from really dark to really light their all very wearable colors, but also colors you can do more outgoing looks with at the same time. What I love most is that it has a large variety of brown shades. This palette  is much better then the original 88 color palette in my opinion because in the original the colors are way too outrageous fro me to many bright colors and not enough neutral colors. As a sophomore in H.S I wouldn't really wear that much color, or even later on I'm sure I just love neural looks! In the palette there are some really shimmery colors as well as mattes, and some frosts
There is great range of colors, that are all pretty pigmented and go on really well sometimes the darker colors are less bendable but that's not really an issue if you use them cautiously!

So over all I really loved this palette,  I recommend it a lot if your more into neutral looks with an occasional pop of color look below for a more close of up of the colors. I will also be putting up swatches of the colors I'm not sure if all of them but most, there are 88 colors so it may not be possible to swatch all of them.

That's all for now byee! :)

Review : Birchbox #3

I'm not completely sure what I feel about this months birchbox, and I guess that's why I've waited a little on doing this post. I've had it for a little over a week and its my least favorite from the three I've gotten which isn't necessarily a bad this I just like what I got in previous boxes better! So that's all I really feel about this months box so I'll go right ahead and show you what I got:
BVLGARI Mon Jasmin Noir
I got a small 8 ml sample size, I'd describe it as rich, crisp, and floral.
Full size: 80 ml for $80.00
Tocca SPF 30+ Sunscreen Towelettes in Stella
I got two individually wrapped towelettes, they are both quite big!
Full size: 10 Towelettes for $24.00
Pangea Organics Cleanser for Oily to Combination Skin
I got a 1 fl oz sized tube, really nice!
Full size: 4 fl oz for $28.00
Number 4 Lumiere d'hiver Reconstructing Masque & Number 4 Fleurs de Temps Volumizing Shampoo [Which came as a bonus with the Masque in a pretty small size]
I got 1.5 oz of the Masque, a great size there's a lot in the bottle, and .25 fl oz of the shampoo.
Full size: Masque [5.1 oz for $ 58.00] Shampoo [8.5 fl oz for $34.00]

EXTRA this month:
Twistband Hair Ties
I got one hair tie in black, which I really liked!
Full size: Comes in sets of threes in various colors for $5.00

This month even though I didn't love all the products my money was well spent cause if you do the math all these products together in the sizes I got are worth well over $20.00 when I just spent $10.00! So the only reason I was disappointed was that I really want more makeup and less hair and skin care products, but its okay.

Well that's that, leave me a comment and let me know what you think and post ideas, or requests are always welcome!

Bye!

Back To School : Back Pack/ Locker Essentials

So This Is A List Of Must Haves On Your First Day Or Your First Week Of High School, Or Maybe In Some Cases Middle School. This Is A List I Swear By, I Just Wish I'd Been So Organized The Beginning Of My Freshmen Year, And Later On In The Year But I'm All Prepped And Ready For This Year For Sure! This Isn't Really In Any Particular Order Just By What Came Off The Top Of My Head.

□ Back Pack - For obvious reasons not having a back is not an option!
□ Binder - You'll notice I don't have notebooks on this list and that's because I learned the beginning of my freshmen year that, notebooks were such a hassle! So what I do is have one 2 or 2 and a half inch binder with dividers for each period I organize it by the order my classes are in through out the day, and for each class I just slip in the things I have during that day and so on so its all organized by date most recent on top. Oh and for my notes and things I'd need a notebook for I use loose leaf paper!
□ Student Planner - Very Important to stay organized! Some schools provide you with planners mine does but I've always found my own personal planner that isn't the exact same as everyone else helps me better!
□ Pencil Pouch - Never keep pens and pencils and all stray in you back back wastes so much time finding, so get a super cute pencil pouch you love to show off!
□ Makeup Pouch - So explainable! In high School every girl at least wears eyeliner or lip gloss or both. And leaving your lip glosses or eye pencils stray in your back pack can lead to problems, it can become a mess and hard to find!
□ Safety Pins - You never know when you might need them, seriously!
□ Calculator - Do I have to explain? Obviously a must have for math!
□ Pens - Some teachers require pens over pencils, specially in honors and AP classes!
□ Mechanical Pencils - I personally HATE wooden pencils your always needing to sharpen them if the tip breaks, so these are a must!
□ Mechanical Pencil Lead - Always good to have back up!
□ Thin Post It Notes - Very good for marking certain pages in textbooks, or in your notes. These help a lot!
□ Dividers - For your binder, I suggest getting plain ones with colorful tabs so you can decorate them yourself
□ iPod - I always need my music before and after School. I never leave home with out it and even if I do I always regret it later!
□ Cell Phone - For obvious reasons! Though make sure their turned off or silent I've gotten in trouble for it before its not pretty.
□ Composition Notebook - For and quick notes you need to write down (not really study/class notes) and you don't have time to pull our paper from your binder. I love getting the colorful, cute patterned ones!
□ Sharpies - You will always find a need for them maybe not everyday but someday!
□ Gum - I know that in my school gum is allowed in most classes with laid back teachers and even if not for chewing in class, you should have a minty pack in your backpack just in case.
□ Locker Bin - For your locker to keep all your extras! Good way to keep your locker organized
□ USB Drive (3GB+) - Its important to keep all documented to you need to print out on a flash drive that's always with you, you never know when you might need to run to the library and print something out.
□ Index Cards - Optional, some people need them some people don't I myself try to keep them, but sometimes I can't.
□ Index Card Case - To keep all your cards organized, I know that one year when I didn't my backpack was a MESS!
□ Loose Leaf Paper - For your binders, these are so important for me just last year I went through at least six packs, their not really expensive though just about a $1.00 each.
□ Scotch Tape - Good to keep in your locker you never know when it may come in handy
□ Scissors - Same as the tape!
□ Color Pencils - Again you never know, I know last year I used them in World studies to mark maps, it was mandatory!
□ Thin Markers - You never know when they may come in use!
□ Breath Mint - For those moments where your wondering if that tuna salad was a good idea or not.
□ Extra Lip Gloss - For your locker just in case, have one for your locker that stays there and one for your pouch that's in your backpack that you change up.
□ Extra Chap Stick - For you locker again, keep two one for your locker and one for your pouch
□ Extra Waterproof Mascara - Same as above
□ Locker Mirror - A must you have no idea how much they come in use.
□ Pads/Tampons - Just in case, better safe then sorry, have a bunch in your locker and at least one of either in your back pack
□ Deodorant/Body Spray - Another must for your locker, I always kept my Bath And Bodyworks Midnight Pomegranate fragrance mist in my locker, my absolute Favorite!
□ Lotion - Again a medium/large size for your lock and a mini for you pouch, specially in the winter my hands tend to get really dry!
□ Bobby Pins/ Hair Ties - Great to keep again in your pouch and locker
□ Magnets - For you locker, optional I love them for hanging pictures though.
□ Pencil Holder - For your locker, always good to have a few extras just in case.
□ Hair Brush - Great to keep in your lockers you never know when you need them
□ Hand Sanitizer - A small one for for your backpack is absolutely necessary!
□ Extra Water Bottle - A MUST to keep with you at all times!
□ Extra Money For Emergencies - Great to keep in your lockers and not so much as your wallet so your not tempted to spend it, just keep it for emergencies.

Well Thats About All The things I Could Think Of If You Have Others In Mind Then Let Me Know! I Hope This Helps! I'd Love Feedback, R/R, & Follow! Ohhh And I'm Planning On Doing More Back To School Posts, So If You Have Any Requests Make Sure To Let Me Know!
Bye! (:

Tips & Tricks : Face/Makeup

Here are my makeup tips and tricks :
Face:
*Never sleep with makeup still on it might not be there in the morning but that just means its clogged up all your pores! Always wash off, or use makeup remover of some kinds!
*A natural toner? Fresh apple juice!
*If you apply concealer first you won't need as much foundation!
* To know where to apply blush bend over for 30 seconds, then slowly stand up. Where your cheeks are flushed is where you are meant to blush.
* Make sure you blend in your blush with your foundation, or it looks unnatural and sometimes makes you appear older.
* Setting a liquid foundation with powder gives the best results.
* Never use face primer all over like foundation, but just on your cheeks the 'T' on your forehead and center of your jawline. Those are the places where you will mainly need it!

Lips :
*Heavy eye makeup - don't choose a dark lip color!
*Use lipstick for staining if your not a lipstick person its great to wear with matching lip gloss.
*For dark lips like mine I like to put on a layer of oil (herbal oils are the best) on my lips and got to bed, and my mom tells me it helps to eat fruits and veggies? Not completely sure about that but yeah...
*If you get dry chapped lips in the winter or any other time don't lick your lips that will make it worse!
*Coco butter is good for dry lips!
* To make your lips look plumper don't make a hard line with your lip liner instead smudge it out!

Eyes :
* Never pump the applicator into the mascara tube always twist or you mascara can dry out faster.
* To make you lashes look fuller and your eyeliner to appear natural, don't make a line, put small dots along your lash like somewhat tightly together.
For a dramatic look, draw a line of black eyeliner inside your lash line (as close to the lashes as possible), then along the top of the lash line.
* To make your eyes look brighter add a lighter color on your inner corner. Since I'm most into Neutral [Brown] Smokey Eyes I  always like adding a gold or copper  color there.
* for really hard areas to conceal use a creamy concealer after smoothing it over the area press down with a make up sponge and set with powder.
* When applying a dark shadow to the crease of your eye make sure to blend out the edges and not bring in the color to far into your inner corner.
* Shimmer makes eyes really pop, but it also highlights heavy lids, lines and wrinkles.
* If you want to splurge money on a high end product but your not sure what to get always go with eye shadow its one of those things that if worth the splurge!!
* When applying make up near your eyes or applying concealer use your ring finger its the most gentle!

That's all for now! I know all these like quirks but most of them didn't come off the top my head I did do some research while typing these up, there are so many other things I could have put but these are the things I do personally and that's why they are there!

Bye! (:

Review : Perfect Wear Eyewriter

Avon's Perfect Wear Eyewriter, My Choice Liquid Eyeliner!

I've Never Been A Huge Fan Of Liquid Eyeliner My First Choice Has Always Been Gel Liner. In A Way It Still Is. For Dramatic, Going Out Looks, Or a Smokey Eye I Still Prefer Gel Liners. For My Water Line And Under Eyeliner I Will Always Prefer Pencils [The Ones You Sharpen! I Despise The Retractable Ones!]. And For A Very Thin, Upper Lash Line From Liner, Now I Will Have To Say Liquid, And I Really Do Think Just This One And No Other!

I Absolutely LOVE The Applicator, Its Perfect For Getting That Very Thin Line I Love! Its Very Flexible Too So You Can Work A More Dramatic Look As Well! It Is Amazing For Long Wear Once I Forgot To Clean My Makeup Before Bed And When I Woke Up Half Of It Was Still There While Everything Else Was Gone! That Is If You Don't Rub Your Eye To Much! Any Make Will Come Off If You Do Of Course.

Just A Caution, This Liner Is Runny When You Try Using It Under Eye Which Is Weird Since Its Not When You Apply It To Your Upper Lash Line But Yes Beware!

- That's All Bye!

Review : Birchbox #1

Ok so I got my Birchbox on Monday!
I've had it for a whole week now I've just been slacking a little on this one since I will admit I wasn't too happy with. Its somewhat my own fault since I did Google what others got in their birchbox before I received mine. And I didn't get the one thing I was most excited about seeing. The Laura Geller Blush/Bronzer a full size worth $29.99...and I was upset when I didn't get any other full size product in place of that. And I do think that all boxes should be worth the same even if your getting different products that's what bothered me but anyways here are the things I got...Oh and I won't unsubscribe just because of this I do feel like I need to wait till another month, and stuff I still love this just a bit disappointed. [I can't find my camera to take the pictures of each samples actual size and this is what the full size looks like.]
Tatcha Aburatorigami Blotting Paper
I received the first blue one, the sample was of 3 sheets
Full size: 30 Sheets for $12.00
Herban Essentials Towelettes
I receives two individually wrapped towelettes both in the orange flavor.
Full Size: 20 Sheets for $15.00 [Also in: Lemon]
Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss
I received the 0.02 fl oz gloss in Glisten
Full Size: 0.21 fl oz for $20.00 [Also in: Mirage, Riviera, Rose Glisten, and Tender ]
Jouer Moisturizing Gloss Swatches
Kate Spade New York : Twirl
I received about 0.03 fl oz I think not completely sure.
Full Size: 3.4 fl oz for $ 80.00 [Smaller size: $65.00]
Pureology ColourStylist Strengthening  Control Zero Dulling Hairspray
I think I received about 3 to 5 fl oz, the mist is really fine and you  barely feel it I really liked it!
Full Size: 11 oz for $24.00
Nuxe Reve De Miel Ultra Comfortable Body Cream
I received 15 ml
Full Size: 150 ml for $35.00
So thats all things I received this month, let me know your thoughts if your planning to subscribe, etc.

Review : Rimmel London Natural Bronzer

Rimmel London Bronzer in Sun Dance
Like I said in one of my previous posts I bought this and I was going to review it! So I've been using it for about a month or more, and so far I'm not super impressed. The things that I really like about this bronzer is its really light and doesn't make you look too weird and orange. Though its quite shimmery, and blends in a little to well with my skin tone.
I am planing on getting a different shade of this bronzer, and I will re-review it then. But So far not super impressed its should work for light skin tones better!

Bye! (:

Review : EOS Lip Balm

EOS Lip Balm in Summer Fruit
I've been meaning to get this for the longest time! I see a lot of people using it and I was like whats the big deal? I've been using it for a month now and this whole months I have not used anything else! The round part on top is already become flat! I use it before lip gloss or lips stick, and even alone it just makes my lips look healthy and super soft! Love this never using anything else!

If you try it let me know what you think!

Announcement : Request!

So recently I've really been running out of ideas, so I'd love it if you guys could leave me requests on what you'd like me to talk about! So I have started a new mini series [Tips and Tricks!] and you can request what types of tips you want or give me ideas of more mini series, etc.

Hope to hear from you guys! Request, Request, Request!!!

Tips & Tricks : Miscellaneous

Here are just some things I do that are really helpful, and just help me do things easier :<

*Makeup wedges! I like triangular spongy makeup wedges for spreading out foundation, even more then brush!
*Cucumbers! For under eyes circles I always sleep with cucumber slices on!
*Witch Hazel! The perfect alternative to dry shampoo, specially for me since I have dark hair and some dry shampoos can make my hair look grayish. I apply to roots with a cotton ball.
*Wet your Makeup brush at the very tip for your eye shadow, the color comes out brighter.
*Drinking lots of water (10+ glasses)and even better iced tea is great for losing weight!
*A center stripe separates a wide frame and thick waist, making you look more slender.
*Use bronzer half way through your foundation routine. use you liquid foundation, or a tinted moisturizer then as you set it with power foundation blend in your bronzer.
*Staining your lips with a color that is close to the lip gloss shade your wearing, it will really make the color brighter and possibly last longer depending on the products you use.
*Instead of curling my lashes all the time I like to brush them out to the side, it really highlights the shape of my eyes!
*Puffy eyes in the morning? I sometimes like to put my eye cream in the fridge so when I wake its nice and cold and wakes me up!
