Review : Birchbox #1

Ok so I got my Birchbox on Monday!
I've had it for a whole week now I've just been slacking a little on this one since I will admit I wasn't too happy with. Its somewhat my own fault since I did Google what others got in their birchbox before I received mine. And I didn't get the one thing I was most excited about seeing. The Laura Geller Blush/Bronzer a full size worth $29.99...and I was upset when I didn't get any other full size product in place of that. And I do think that all boxes should be worth the same even if your getting different products that's what bothered me but anyways here are the things I got...Oh and I won't unsubscribe just because of this I do feel like I need to wait till another month, and stuff I still love this just a bit disappointed. [I can't find my camera to take the pictures of each samples actual size and this is what the full size looks like.]
Tatcha Aburatorigami Blotting Paper
I received the first blue one, the sample was of 3 sheets

Full Size: 3.4 fl oz for $ 80.00 [Smaller size: $65.00]
Pureology ColourStylist Strengthening  Control Zero Dulling Hairspray
I think I received about 3 to 5 fl oz, the mist is really fine and you  barely feel it I really liked it!

I received 15 ml

Review : Rimmel London Natural Bronzer

Rimmel London Bronzer in Sun Dance
Like I said in one of my previous posts I bought this and I was going to review it! So I've been using it for about a month or more, and so far I'm not super impressed. The things that I really like about this bronzer is its really light and doesn't make you look too weird and orange. Though its quite shimmery, and blends in a little to well with my skin tone.
I am planing on getting a different shade of this bronzer, and I will re-review it then. But So far not super impressed its should work for light skin tones better!

Bye! (:

Review : EOS Lip Balm

EOS Lip Balm in Summer Fruit
I've been meaning to get this for the longest time! I see a lot of people using it and I was like whats the big deal? I've been using it for a month now and this whole months I have not used anything else! The round part on top is already become flat! I use it before lip gloss or lips stick, and even alone it just makes my lips look healthy and super soft! Love this never using anything else!

If you try it let me know what you think!
Bye!

Announcement : Request!

So recently I've really been running out of ideas, so I'd love it if you guys could leave me requests on what you'd like me to talk about! So I have started a new mini series [Tips and Tricks!] and you can request what types of tips you want or give me ideas of more mini series, etc.

Hope to hear from you guys! Request, Request, Request!!!

Tips & Tricks : Miscellaneous

Here are just some things I do that are really helpful, and just help me do things easier :<

*Makeup wedges! I like triangular spongy makeup wedges for spreading out foundation, even more then brush!
*Cucumbers! For under eyes circles I always sleep with cucumber slices on!
*Witch Hazel! The perfect alternative to dry shampoo, specially for me since I have dark hair and some dry shampoos can make my hair look grayish. I apply to roots with a cotton ball.
*Wet your Makeup brush at the very tip for your eye shadow, the color comes out brighter.
*Drinking lots of water (10+ glasses)and even better iced tea is great for losing weight!
*A center stripe separates a wide frame and thick waist, making you look more slender.
*Use bronzer half way through your foundation routine. use you liquid foundation, or a tinted moisturizer then as you set it with power foundation blend in your bronzer.
*Staining your lips with a color that is close to the lip gloss shade your wearing, it will really make the color brighter and possibly last longer depending on the products you use.
*Instead of curling my lashes all the time I like to brush them out to the side, it really highlights the shape of my eyes!
*Puffy eyes in the morning? I sometimes like to put my eye cream in the fridge so when I wake its nice and cold and wakes me up!

Blabber : Essie's Nice Is Nice

I just recently bought this color, because I thought it looked so pretty at the store, and I must it is really nice! I love it I know I'm gonna wear this color a lot this summer, its the perfect frosty lavender color it is just a bit more purple and not as pink as it looks in the picture my lighting just wasn't very good there! But defiantly a unique color, I love it so so so much!

Bye (:

DIY : Eye Primer

We all know how expensive eye primer can be specially if it costs as much as your whole, or a big chunk of your allowance! So I after googling (hehe I love saying that googling) Primers, and looking at videos and stuff. I finally making on myself and yeah it works pretty good, of course it may not last just as long as store bought primers but it has lasted me about six hours to the most. I don't feel the need to have my make up last a whole 12 hours I can just touch up, and it works fine for me! Hope this helps you guys!

All you need:
A very small container to make it in, to store it. [About the side of a gel liner pot, something like that]
Your foundation [Liquid!!!]
A thick Lotion [Nothing to liquidy, a body butter type thing would work]
Something small to mix with [I used a toothpick, you could also use a Popsicle stick]
** Optional **
Concealer [ Liquid Again ]

Make sure you pour in equal parts maybe a little less of the lotion, if you are using concealer then only add a bit of that.Just stir it all up until its all mixed and you know you'll be able to tell. And then your done!
What mine looked like!
Well thats all, I'd love to know what you thought of this I hope it helped!
Bye!! (:
